Celebrity Super Shot

12th June

Black powder musket section - Muzzleloaders' Range:  A suitable "Enfield" musket rifle will be provided for competitors.  6 shots standing, at a standard target at 50m, of which the best 5 will be scored.  Practice opportunities for celebrities Sunday mornings by prior arrangement.  £7 for 13 shots.  Call Adrian Le Brocq 07797 715743.

Offhand Open Shoot - 25th July

This event is open to all comers. All competitions to be shot offhand (standing). MLAGB and JML & AFA rules will apply.  

Reminders:-

When people are forward no firearms will be left loaded or handled on the firing point.

No capping off or loading before the RCO orders “open fire”. 

No loaded or part loaded firearms to be removed from the firing point without the RCO’s instruction.

On the command “cease fire” anyone loaded or part loaded must advise the RCO and await instructions.

Firearms must be unloaded when falling back to the next distance in the Hythe.

Programme:-

Morning: 6 details, 30 minutes unsquadded unless necessary. If you are sharing a firearm or wish to borrow one please so indicate on your entry form. Entries on the day will be allowed if space is available.

If you are not shooting the next detail be prepared to move your kit from the firing point.

50M Competitions, all 10/13 shots, 30 mins on PL7 target.

Hythe:

Military Rifle. 5 shots offhand at each distance, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 yards.

No tables, no scopes. Shooters draw for order and fire in turn. A separate class for Snider will be laid on if there is demand.

Hythe Target 8in bull = 3 pts, 20in inner = 2 pts, 6’x2’ = 1 pt. Scoring as MLAGB rules.
